Roppongi is the hottest and the best place to find a dancing place. There are so many clubs and bars so even though you are not sure if you really want salsa or not, just go Roppongi station and see how you feel.

Level 1: El Cafe Latino

If you are visiting Japan and looking for an experience to see salsa dancing culture in Japan and possibly get to know some local or overseas people, then El Cafe Latino would give you the exact space and time with adequate choice of music and bar menu.

You can enjoy Salsa, Merengue, Bachata, for about 5:2:3 portion. 

Best for beginners and intermediate dancers.

Even though you never danced salsa and rather like other genre dance, you will still enjoy letting you out with the latin music.

This bar is largest dancing place in Roppongi having 2 floors of dancing and bar place, in the 2nd floor, you have enough space to enjoy some food on table with chairs.

Whenever I go dancing with some salsa friends other non salsa dancers of 3-5 ppl, then I definitely choose this place.

Level 2: Salsa Caribe

If you are looking for dancers with bit higher techniques, then go Salsa Caribe. 

The place is a bit smaller than El cafe Latino, with only 1 floor, but you can still get a good cocktail and On1 and On2 dancers. Cuban, sometimes.

*1,000yen for ladies entering before 22:00

**You need to deposit your bags to locker at the entrance at 300-500yen.

Level3: Studio Pepe 2

If you are confident about your salsa dancing skill, then go Pepe 2! 

Mind that people here are mainly On2 dancers.

There are many exciting periodical events for Friday and Saturday nights.

If you want to dance with a very good salsa dancer, come visit the Taxi de la salsa event here you can dance with an advanced dancer named taxi or limousine.
